Survival of the fittest? Nope- survival of the fashion.
1 week down, 25 to go until graduation. Not including breaks. Not that I'm counting or anything.
This first week of uni has set the bar for this year very high and things have gotten serious.
With all this talk of final lines, values and morals, and life goals, there is nothing I like more than sitting in my room with a cuppa to reflect on all of this.
My "homework sanctuary" as we can refer to it during the semester, is my quiet little get-away where I can hunker down, listen to Taylor Swift's glorious 1989 album, and type away to my little heart's desire.

My room has been a work in progress for years... as are many interior design/home decor/organizing projects. I've gone through colour phases where I sported a purple and green room, switched rooms with my brother and got to look at navy and beige walls, and then went through the typical "black, white, and pink" phase where every accent piece in my room HAD to be hot pink. Thank god we've made it through that phase in particular.
Now, I've opted for whites, neutrals, blush colours, and the odd black accent. I decided to keep everything on the lighter side because it just opens up the space a lot more, and looks simple yet beautiful-especially when the sun shines through my window, it just brightens up the space.
Back when Target Canada was a thing, I went to them for all of my bedding needs, Urban Barn for all my throw blanket needs, Second hand stores to get a good Mongolian Fur pillow, and god bless Homesense & Winners for picture frames. I'm a bit of a home decor junky.....
