Or something like that. Anyways, the point is- coffee and the colour black- stick to it.
Felt a little Yeezus in this outfit, but without the douchy persona and weird love/hate thing he's got going on with Taylor Swift. I mean we all saw the Grammy's back in '09. I'm also not planning on running for president anytime soon, so there's another difference.
In my last post I mentioned it was "treat yourself week (or two)" so I indulged in some shopping. This isn't the only thing I've been indulging in lately. Coffee. Yes, you read that correctly. "But wait" you think... "doesn't this chick drink like, a lot of coffee already?" and to that I say: YOU'VE GOT IT. I'm not even surprised anymore when I have 2 cups before 8:30am... and before bed....
Anyways, indulging- this is the second of those two shirts I scooped at Nordstrom last week. And yes...they are the same. I couldn't NOT get one in black... who do you think I am. But they are seriously the most comfortable tee's I have ever owned, and not bad for a price of $24.00.
I have never been a fan of just a typical tee. I think they are generic and I am not a fan of the fit... and they usually have some type of logo plastered on the front. These are great, because they are slightly different than a typical tee. These tees have a slouchy, loose fit, making them perfect for cozy days, and have a slightly longer sleeve and very nice rounded neckline. They hang very well on the body and have a nice drape to them. So in short, buy one. Or two. That's what I would do... (WWKD... what would Kate do?) Think about it.

It's not a proper post until Charlee makes an appearance.
I went very basic with this look. Mostly because it was Friday after work and I had an obligation to taking it easy and relaxing after a stressful and creative few weeks. You can't go wrong with black clothing. Black compliments black, and pretty well every other colour or neutral-so when in doubt wear black because... once you go black, you never go back. So for a very comfortable, and casual look that still managed to look somewhat put together and not like I had just woken up from a nap (which was true), I paired the plain, long(ish) black tee with black skinny jeans and those infamous snakeskin sneakers for a bit of contrast. Accessories were kept very minimal- a black leather watch, silver St.Christopher pendant necklace, a few small rings, a small gold bracelet, and mis-matched earrings. Actually that sounds like a lot of accessories after typing it out, but it felt very minimal, and the pieces do not clash with one another.
