Today was basically a huge headache, but progress is being made. Final lines are getting sorted out, and I started painting again.
Thinking of branding is overwhelming. I have to figure out how I want to present myself, and my line. It's a lot of pressure, and a lot of stress.
On the bright side, I am happy with how things are progressing this semester, and I have been listening to white noise of ocean waves for the past almost two hours now. It's surprisingly calming.

Anyways:
I'm short. It's just a way of life. Actually we'll use the term "petite frame".. yea, I'm petite framed... it sounds cuter. I'll come back to my point later...
As if I can't stop raving about Scandinavian Europe enough, here's just one more reason to love it. There flea markets are killer. I had never really been into thrifting previously; I would stop in the odd thrift store just to browse or look at vintage jewelry, but started to enjoy it a lot more once being in Finland.
My Finnish friend took me to a few really good flea markets near where we lived, and they are just so great! The brands that these people are selling are usually pretty good, and the clothing is either vintage, a really good brand, or in pristine condition... and for such a great price!
It was no surprise that when the two of us travelled to Copenhagen, we scoped out the first flea market we could find! And boy, were we impressed! Found some great pieces by some great brands, for even better prices!

I sorted through a few racks, and my heart stopped when I found a ribbed crop top turtle neck. I'm not totally a fan of the crop top... it's got to be a pretty damn special one to make it into my closet.. so luckily this one had a turtle neck attached to it.
Because my petite frame is also 5 feet tall.. on the button.. this is hardly a crop top, which is a bonus! Not all of my pants and jeans are high waisted, so I have a lot more styling options with this piece!

On this ever so mentally exhausting day, and physically exhausting week of branding and essentially just figuring shit out- is the best way I can put it- comfort gets me through the day. And so do Chelsea boots...
Today was all about having a looser fit. It's just so comfortable. I threw on a pair of distressed acid washed light pair of denim and paired it with the "not so crop top" beige top and charcoal grey oversized, long cardigan, which is one of the best purchases I have made. And of course, no outfit would be complete without my black leather Chelsea Booties.
